He completed a shortened General Practice training and a Diploma in Sports Medicine from the University of Bath. He was appointed as a GP principal and started to work at the Blackberry Clinic in 2005.

Subsequently Dr Saw looks after the Elite Rowing squad at Leander Rowing Club and has been team doctor for the Henley Hawks. He was medical officer for the Rugby Football Union 'A' World Cup Games that were played in Henley in 2008. He has also worked with GB Olympic Rowers and Premiership Footballers in an ongoing capacity while at the Blackberry Clinic.
