What do Chiropractors treat?

Chiropractic is a form of healthcare aimed at enhancing well-being without the use of drugs or surgery. Over 22 million people visited doctors of Chiropractic last year and evidence supporting the effectiveness of Chiropractic care continues to emerge.

Chiropractors treat many neuromusculoskeletal complaints, such as:

  • General, acute and chronic backache and back pain
  • General aches and pains, including those of joints
  • Joint pains, including hip and knee pain from osteoarthritis (OA) as an adjunct to core OA treatments and exercise
  • Muscle spasms and cramp
  • Mechanical neck pain
  • Headache arising from the neck
  • Frozen shoulder, shoulder or elbow pain, or tennis elbow arising from associated musculoskeletal conditions of the back and neck, but not isolated occurrences
  • Prevention of migraine
  • Tension and inability to relax

All of our Chiropractors are registered with the General Chiropractic Council and are members of the British Chiropractic Association.
