Shelley Doole, Chiropractor Milton Keynes

Shelley DooleShelley is a highly motivated and dedicated Chiropractor. She graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a merit level Masters Degree and prides herself in her patient centered approach to treatment.

She was introduced to Chiropractic at a young age after suffering from a whiplash injury and saw the great benefits that Chiropractic treatment had for both her and members of her family. Since this early stage, her goal became to pursue a career in Chiropractic so that she might provide the type and quality of care that she received to others.

Shelley is passionate about helping people from all walks of life to reach their goals, whether it be enabling a patient to bend again to put their socks on, or improving the peak performance of an athlete. She encourages all patients to take an active role in their care in order to aide and speed their recovery through a combination of treatment, home care and exercise rehabilitation.

Shelley is committed to giving the highest quality of care to all her patients and is continually expanding her knowledge base through up-to-date research and further courses to ensure that she provides the highest standards in patient care. She particularly enjoys treating sports injuries, pregnant and paediatric patients and strives to find the best treatment techniques to suit her patients individual needs. Her range of skills includes spinal and peripheral joint manipulation and mobilisation, activator technique, soft tissue massage, muscle energy techniques, dry needling, myofascial release, stretches and exercise rehabilitation.

Shelley enjoys working within a multi-disciplinary setting and feels that collaboration with practitioners from other healthcare disciplines ensures that patients are provided with the best and most effective care possible.

In her spare time, Shelley is a great lover of the outdoors, participating in a wide variety of sports including sailing, tennis and some more adventurous sports such as canyoning and paragliding. From her experience she is well aware that all sports can lead to a wide variety of injuries and to return to optimal performance, the body benefits from a level of intervention.

Shelley is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and works with a wide range of health insurers.
